Supports the most common Smartcards
The EW1052 supports the major Smartcard standard and specifications for ID-1 card format including personal ID cards. The card reader is suitable for e-commerce, e-business, digital signature, authentication and access security. The Ewent card reader is CAC approved and complies with PC/SC and the WHQL standard.
With USB 2.0 connection
The Ewent EW052 USB Smartcard reader is equipped with a USB 2.0 port with a transaction speed of 12 Mbps and also supports the USB 1.1 standard.
No additional power adapter required
You don't need an extra power adapter or cables. The card reader is powered via the USB port. Connect the 1 meter USB cable to your computer and your card reader is immediately ready for use.
